Mary Kummer Naber of Grosse Pointe Park is the president and CEO of PACE Southeast Michigan. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and master’s degree from the University of Michigan. She serves as the nominee of the Senate Majority Leader.
Serving an initial four-year term expiring April 15, 2021:
David Henry of Fruitport is vice president of facility management operations for Trinity Continuing Care Services. He holds a paramedic certification in emergency medical services from Grand Valley State University and a certification in long-term care administration from Michigan State University.
Larry Yachcik of Fremont served in the position of President and Chief Executive Office of Port Hills from January 2008 until he retired in September 2017. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Community Development from Central Michigan University and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. He represents the interests of one or more congressionally chartered veterans’ organizations.
Kenneth Robbins of Muskegon is currently the President of Scott Senior Services and has been in the senior living sector for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 11 years and holds a master’s degree in administration from NMU. He is a current member of the Masonic Pathways Board of Directors and previously served on the State Advisory Council on Aging. He represents with professional knowledge, skill, or experience in long-term care.
Serving a three-year term expiring April 15, 2022:
MaryAnne Shannon of Sault Ste. Marie has served 8 years in the Coast Guard Reserves. She is a professor of nursing at Sault College. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, master’s degrees from Wayne State University and Central Michigan University and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. She represents the interests of one or more congressionally chartered veterans’ organizations.
Serving a four-year term expiring April 15, 2023:
Henry Boutros of Ann Arbor is the Board Chair of the Health Care Association of Michigan and President of NexCare. Boutros holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a M.Ed from Wayne State University. He serves as a representative of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
David Rutledge of Ypsilanti served in the Air Force as a personnel officer. He is a former state representative and the owner and president of Esourceful, LLC. Rutledge holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University and an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree from Eastern Michigan University. He represents the interests of one or more congressionally chartered veterans’ organizations.
Serving a four-year term expiring April 15, 2024:
Bradford Slagle of Marquette was the CEO of the Michigan Veterans Health System and Administrator of the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans. He has approximately 20 years of experience with State Veterans Homes programs as well as national level experience. For 18 years he has volunteered with the National Association of State Veterans Homes (NASVH). He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He serves representing the residents of the Upper Peninsula.
